Your luxury dream house designs

Posted by   on

Housing has been one of our primary needs and when art mingles with it, we come across the marvels of architecture. Over the years, we have come up with different types of housing designs and construction techniques and it has never been stopped since.

Luxury has no limit when it comes to building a dream house for yourself. What matters the most is that you fulfill every aspect of architecture combined with the intricacy of design and value. There are no limits on having the fairy tale house you have always wanted.

A luxury home is not just the name of a large, special home with several rooms, but it is also the name of the outward look and the tweaks used to bring out the best beauty in it. From the porch to the balcony and from the kitchen to the bathroom, every part has to be the best, both in function and impression.

There are hundreds of luxury home designs, few of which are mentioned below.

Cape Cod

Although Cape Cod homes were originally smaller, today there is a wide variety of this design. An addition is made to the side or to the back of the house to make it larger. When it comes to luxury, this design suits the new age requirement with a classic look. Steep rooflines and multi-paned windows express its classical nature.

Colonial style

Popular in the USA, this type of home design has a kitchen and living room on the first floor and bedrooms on the second floor. This design cannot be limited by just that setting. New spaces always can be added. Facades are the most vibrant areas of these houses and they can be built in a number of ways. This design has a formal luxury which dates back to history.

Ranch style

With its snug profile and horizontal length, ranch style has risen up to fame since its origin in the 1920s. Usually single story, this style is much acclaimed in luxury home designs. The bedrooms are separated from the living room and the beautiful vaulted ceilings are a sign of admiration of this design. With wide gardens surrounding the main house, this design is perfect because of its serene outlook.

Cottage style

This style is known for its warm and fairytale-like look. Cross gables and very steep rooflines and pitches make this style even popular. The siding may be brick, stucco or stone, depending upon the taste of the owner or the builder. The doors are normally arched and they preserve the calmness of the past.

Contemporary style

Contemporary style features modern international architecture. The simple geometric shapes, wide open floor plans and the use of glass in the construction has gathered much appreciation over time. Also, this type fits the needs of modern society.

Whatever luxury home design is, what matters the most is the perfect combination of the exterior with the interior, keeping in mind all the comforts of life.
